Wisteria

This piece can be used as a table centerpiece displaying candles or other art. Thin strips of walnut were layered to make the top. I was going to sell this small stand at a booth at a local festival. However, my wife made several hints of how good it would look in our house and how she wanted one just like it. So, as you can guess, it now resides on our kitchen table.

Sasa

The Sasa box was a donation I made to a local school auction to benefit its students and programs. A local surgeon purchased the box.

Larix

The Larix box was commissioned by a gentleman who was interested in replacing an old jewelry box for his girlfriend's birthday. As her birthday came closer, their relationship grew and the box was given to her with a beautiful ring placed inside. They are now happily married.

I was honored that my work was a part of this special moment in their lives.

Cotoneaster

This is a simple candle holder made for common tealights. My sister purchased this piece, and uses it often. It became more than a decoration a few weeks later when her power went out and this was the only candle holder she had that kept the candles from dripping.
